 Qingdao International Convention Center (QICC) enjoys a beautiful view along the seashore and has a convenient location for accessing and visiting the site . QICC includes the exhibition hall, convention centre, hotel, food and beverage outlets, as well as travel and recreation facilities. It was first put into use in July 2000. With an indoor exhibition area of 50,000 m2, QICC can hold 3,000 international standard exhibition booths and its outdoor exhibition area reaches 80,000 m2. QICC includes a luxurious conference room that can cater for up to 400 people, six meeting rooms (each having a capacity of 200 people), and many negotiation rooms and VIP rooms. A snack area of nearly 10, 000m2; supplies both delicious food and beverages. An automatic building control, fire control, security surveillance, communication and network information system has been installed in QICC. It has established a broad network with both domestic and overseas exhibition agencies, and has joined IAEM. QICC has also passed ISO9001, the 2000 Quality System Qualification. QICC has recieved much praise for its advanced state of facilities and its high quality service, creating an ideal environment for holding large-scale exhibitions and conventions. A lot of reputed international exhibitions have been held here, such as one of the top three global fishery expositions "China Fisheries & Seafood Expo", "China International Consumer Electronics Show", "APEC Medium & Small Enterprises Technology Conference and Fair", "New Drugs China", "China International Marine Fair", "National Hardware Fair", "National Commodity Fair of Motorcycle and accessories", "China Animal Husbandry Expo" and "Auto Parts China". With the continued upgrading of exhibition facilities, QICC and its ability to hold different exhibitions will increase at a speed of around 10-15% yearly. |
