Stand-fitting Regulations
 
  1. The organizing committee is responsible for the general planning and arrangement of the public space in and outside of the exhibition hall. If any companies need to place advertisements out of the booth or the hall, please contact QICC in advance.
  2. All the stand-fitting must be done within the booth. No one could use the public space to stick advertisements, append banners, set stuff, pass out flyers, etc.
  3. The maximum net height of specially decorated booths is 6.5 meters in No. 1 Exhibition Hall, 6.5 meters in No. 2 Exhibition Hall, 4 meters in Eastward Exhibition Hall, 6 meters in No. 3 Exhibition Hall (5 meters in Red Area), and 5 meters in No 4 Exhibition Hall.
  4. The contractor is forbidden to drive nails, dig holes, paint, or stick on the boards, shelters, buildings, fields and any other facilities of the building,. Anyone who has done any damages should make compensation in accordance with relevant regulations.
  5. All column lamp advertisement places cannot be blocked randomly, and anyone who does so shall be charged according to the prices of advertisements.
  6. The managing fee for special decorations for No.1, 2, 3, and 4 Exhibition Hall is 10 RMB/m²/period, and that for Crystal Hall and Eastward Exhibition Hall is 20 RMB/m²/period.
  7. The standard booth and other in-hall facilities cannot be randomly removed or used for other purposes. No one should pick up such facilities as tables and chairs from other booths, and if necessary, it must be declared to the Exhibition Department for approval.
  8. Delegations' exhibition schemes (including 2-dimensional drawings, 3-dimensional drawings, circuit layouts and effect drawings) cannot be implemented before they are sent and approved by the Exhibition Department within the stipulated deadline. Anyone who needs to change the standard booth structure must inform the Exhibition Department of the change before May 30th, and changes that exceed the time limit should be charged certain fees.
  9. The exhibitor should apply to the Exhibition Department to rent basic furniture. The exhibitor should pay extra fees if he needs to rent electric facilities, such as TV sets, video recorders, refrigerators, lights, etc. This item should be charged by the the exhibition hall.
  10. The exhibitor must go through formalities with the Exhibition Department of QICC in advance if he needs to enter the center beforehand for construction or work overtime during the stand-fitting.
  11. No one is allowed to park cars, place advertisements, publicize materials, or exhibits in front of entrances, exits, safety passages, fire facilities, or power switches.
  12. The surface loading of 2/3 the South District of the No.1 Exhibition Hall is limited to 5 tons/m², 1/3 the North District of the hall 2.0 tons/m², No.2 Exhibition Hall 1 ton/m², No.3 Exhibition Hall 1.5tons/ m², and No.4 Exhibition Hall 1 ton/ m².
  13. Exhibits of No.1 Exhibition Hall should be transported through the west entrance. Exhibits of No.2 Exhibition Hall should be transported via the two cargo elevators (Capacity: 5 tons), or via the downloader through the auto lane in the west. Exhibits of No.3 Exhibition Hall should be transported through the north downloader. Exhibits of No.4 Exhibition Hall should be transported through the three cargo elevators (Capacity: 5 tons) in the north downloader area vertically. Exhibits are prohibited to be transported via escalators or passanger elevators.
  14. Smoking and welding are prohibited. No one is allowed to take in articles of flammability, burst, putridness, radioactivity and venomousness.
  15. The exhibitor can apply to the Exhibition Department for consignation if he needs to keep parking materials for later use.
  16. The exhibitor who completes stand-fitting before the closing should assign a particular person to take care of its exhibits until the closing.
  17. During the show one can take out exhibits and tools out of the hall during only with the permission granted by the delegation and signed for approval by the Exhibition Department.
  18. Every worker to enter the hall for stand-fitting should have his own construction certificate, which cannot be transferred, lent, or modified. Anyone who is found to violate the regulations should be cleared out.
  19. To protect the ground surface of the hall, it is forbidden to directly drag articles or iron materials along the ground.
  20. The facilities in our center cannot be used to draw, append or stack any heavy things. Those who need to append things should resort to “U” hook at the ceiling of the booth, and should not use lamp bracket, fire control pipe-line, etc. The deregulators will be stopped until being eligible.
  21. The exhibitor should limit the volume of acoustics into standard situation during booth installation and exhibition showtime, to keep the normal and natural show environment. Volume around the exhibition booths shoule be limited within 80 db of 1# and 2# exhibiton hall, and 60 db of 3# and 4# exhibition hall. Acoustics are not allowed to face neighboring booths and acoustics with strong power are not allowed to use here.
