2005 SINOCES Recap
 
Being the most influential and having the greatest potential for professional shows in the consumer electronics industry in China, SINOCES serves as a window for consumer electronics companies to showcase their latest products and technologies. SINOCES also offers an excellent platform for businesses to build up their brand names and increase the exposure of their images.

Under the theme of “3C Convergence & Seamless Life", 2005 SINOCES influxes the most advanced consumer electronics technologies, the most sophisticated consumer electronics products, and the most well-known top consumer electronics companies, setting up a perfect platform for exhibitions of products and technology exchanges between international and Chinese exhibitors. The partnership of SINOCES with CES, the world’s largest consumer electronics show held every January in Las Vegas, greatly enhances the reputation and the impact of SINOCES. This further strengthens its role as a facilitator to the consumer electronics industry in China, and even in Asia, contributing to and actively influencing the development of the consumer electronics industry in a global sense. The 2005 SINOCES took place in an area of 26,500 square meters and hosted over 310 exhibitors. It attracted over 41,000 professional attendees from China and abroad, among who about 4,000 were international buyers. Some of the world’s top 500 companies and almost all of the renowned consumer electronics companies at home and abroad participated in this impressive event. Buyers from all over the world represented large consumer electronics chain stores, prominent senior executives, high-level department managers, consumer electronics retailers, dealers and international purchasers all attended this show.

The Chinese government attached great importance to 2005 SINOCES, and Vice Prime Minister Madame Wu Yi attended in person and declared the opening of 2005 SINOCES. With the increasing attention to the cooperation between CES and SINOCES from the U.S. Department of Commerce, today a new pattern of “CES in winter and SINOCES in summer” can be visualized. Mr. Wei Jianguo, Vice Minister of China’s Ministry of Commerce, expresses his feelings about the show: “SINOCES is an exciting show with unlimited vitality.”
