In addition to featuring leading CE companies from around the world showcasing their latest technology and products, the 2009 China International Consumer Electronics Show (SINOCES) also hosts some of the world’s largest CE retailers, including Best Buy, Wal-Mart, DESA Group, Tesco of UK, Lotus of Thailand, Carrefour and Tejari from Dubai. Additionally, buying groups from the United States, Germany, Japan, Israel, Australia, South Korea, and Southeast Asian countries as well as professional procurement agencies from China such as Shanghai International Sourcing Promotion Center and Made-in-China will attend the show. For the first time in SINOCES history, All China Federation of Supply and Marketing Cooperatives will host one-to-one business meetings with their members and exhibitors participating in the Home Appliances to the Countryside Program. Preliminary estimates indicate that there will be five times the number of buyers at this year’s SINOCES compared to last year’s show.

Activities for buyers include the Global Buyers Business Matching Program which will be held in the afternoon of July 9 and the entire day on July 10 at Qingdao International Convention Center (QICC). Also in the afternoon of July 9, Shanghai International Sourcing Promotion Center, Tejari, American International Trade Center /AAAOE and Made-in-China will host their own procurement seminars in QICC. This level of buyer activities indicates that SINOCES has become the ideal exchange platform for buyers and exhibitors (suppliers).

Global Buyers Business Matching Program:

1. Buyers will be offered private areas at Hall 5 with table and chairs to have face-to-face meetings with the suppliers.

2. Suppliers will schedule appointments in advance by completing the Application Form for Global Buyers Business Matching Program

3. Suppliers will be invited to meet the buyers in line with the timetable scheduled by the Organizing Committee.  Suppliers are allowed to bring their business promotional materials and product samples in small size.

Both procurement seminars and business matching program s are offered free for SINOCES exhibitors. Badge Collection and Hotel Booking:

All exhibitor staffs participating in the seminars and the business matching program are required to present their SINOCES show badges in order to access the venue. Please register online by visiting www.sinoces.com, and obtain an ID number. Badges can be collected at Attendee Registration Area (Hall 5 of the Center) by presenting the ID number.
